Through the combination of diamond grinding / polishing and the RetroPlate chemical, the RetroPlate System delivers a patented means to permanently strengthen concrete floors, whether old or new, and to deliver a highly abrasion resistant, dust proof floor with increased impact resistance and reflectivity, for bare concrete, acid stain, integral color, dry shake hardeners and cementitious terrazzo.

The RetroPlate System is a Green product of modified sodium silicate that interacts with the calcium hydroxide (free lime) in the cement which naturally enhances the strength of the concrete. RetroPlate System has three levels of shine increasing the reflectivity by at least 30%. Each level provides ease of maintenance, with the following attributes.

• Up to 400% increase in abrasion resistance
• Up to 21% increase in impact resistance
• Up to 30% increase in light reflectivity
• Meets OSHA & ADA SCOF standards to 800 grit finish
